A teacher was dismissed from his post following multiple allegations that he acted inappropriately towards students.
Police are investigating allegations that a teacher at a Dunedin school acted inappropriately towards students.
The teacher was reportedly dismissed from his post as multiple allegations are investigated.
A man, believed to be the teacher, told Stuff the matter was being handled by his union and the school, and that he had not yet been made aware of the nature of the allegations.
“What did we tell you?” He asked when contacted on Wednesday.

Police confirmed to Stuff that they were investigating allegations against a Dunedin school employee.
However, the teacher said he was not aware of any such investigation.

The school principal told Stuff the school is working on a case right now, but because it’s with the police, we can’t comment further.
We can also ensure that we have taken advice from the appropriate agencies and that processes are in place to ensure the welfare, safety and privacy of people in our school.
