Eddie Kingston hits back at WWE Bashing Promo criticism after AEW Dynamite

[ad_1]

Eddie Kingston took the opportunity to address fans live at Dailys Place after AEW Dynamite last Saturday. This video went viral as he took several WWE photos in the process.

Some have criticized Kingston for going easy in this promotion. The point is, AEW has taken several photos of WWE since the company began and this is only the most recent. Eddie Kingston thinks everyone needs to calm down.

WrestleZone had the chance to speak with Eddie Kingston about this situation. He made it clear he would not bury the locker room he was in. He praised the AEW locker room in this promo for giving it their all. Then he came back to discuss how good the competition is in professional wrestling.

Let us leave this question aside. Let everything calm down. Do you think I’ll bury the locker room I work for? No, plus I love our locker room. I love AEW. What do you want from me? They pay me! They put me on national television after 20 years in October. Of course, I will rah-rah AEW. Relax. Relax. I expect the folks on the other joint if they are allowed to mention our names, Kingston explained, they would probably do the same because you know what I mean? They want their home team to win. It’s like NFL or Major League Baseball, man. You want to go with your home team, AEWs my team. This is my team.

Man, the competitions are good. Watch professional wrestling. I do not care. I grew up in the ’90s days when guys from ECW would call everyone. WCW was doing everything it could to beat the World Wrestling Federation at the time. They did it too! Its good! Competitions hello everyone! Because then everyone is watching professional wrestling. When everyone looks at it, for those who like it it happens [indicates making money]. I’m in it because I love it, I never want to do anything else, but somehow I walk away because I could keep talking, but for what happened, for the after-show. May everyone come home happy, some people struggled and some didn’t, everyone relax. Let’s love it. Love it. Let’s relax.

It has to be seen if Eddie Kingston takes any more hits in WWE while using an AEW platform to get his point across. There are a variety of responses to what Kingston said, but he doesn’t seem to think people need to dwell on it too much. He was just trying to send AEW fans home happy and give them something to celebrate. It’s not his fault that AEW fans love to cheer for digs in WWE.
