The LA Clippers have dug a 2-0 hole in each of their clashes this season. Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, then Phoenix Suns as well. However, they recovered each time until the Suns wouldn’t let them cause another upset in WCF Game 6. And almost every time, fans and critics alike are quick to blame someone for the downfall. Why is Paul George a target?

However, it looked like PG was on the verge of redeeming itself until WCF Game 2 against the Suns came around. With 8 seconds left, Paul George suffered a foul that sent him behind the free throw line. It was their golden opportunity to strengthen their lead. But George missed both shots and all the work he did throughout the season came back to this.
So when Pandemic P started trending again after that, Grizzlies Ja Morant had come to PG’s defense on Twitter. He wrote, mfs doesn’t hesitate to talk about pg.
Even when Morant was asked about PG in an interview, he continued to praise him.

Ja Morants immense respect for PG
Morant, who was responsible for the success of the Memphis Grizzlies this year, was not one to put any of his own to shame. In an interview he was asked what he thinks about all the slander and Morant said, I just feel like everyone is following the leader. Some people are probably saying something just to say something.
For my part, I am a fan of Paul George. I feel like he’s a special talent and one of the best players in the league. And I feel like he’s showing it night after night during the playoffs. I don’t know where all the negative energy is coming from, but I hope he has tunnel vision and is focusing on the most important thing.
