MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Improperly thrown fireworks are accused of a second house fire on July 4 in Madison. The former displaced a family of six, while the latter damaged a neighbor’s house.
Using a garden hose, the homeowner managed to extinguish most of the flames outside the house, which sits on Jubilee Circle, as firefighters rushed to the scene, according to the report. initial Madison Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived at around 10:15 p.m. they found thick smoke filling the garage ceiling as well as a few hot spots and started soaking the attic to prevent further spread, the report continued.
