MuTeX denies Warzone’s cheating allegations after Cronus was spotted on the desktop

Warzone streamer Charlie ‘MuTeX’ Sauoma has come under fire after viewers spotted a cheat program, Cronus Pro, on his desktop. MuTeX denied the charges, explaining why it has the app.

In high-level Warzone, competitive integrity is constantly monitored, as players often suspect the best players of potentially cheating. In January, 100 Thieves member Tommey accused a world record holder of using hacks, sparking major controversy.

MuTeX is one of the most prominent Warzone streamers and itself holds several world records. He regularly draws thousands of viewers to his feed, but that also means there are plenty of viewers out there to see if they can catch him “cheating”.

On July 7, a clip from the MuTeX stream started circulating and some viewers noticed a program called Cronus Pro on his desktop.

If you don’t know, using a Cronus can give a player unfair advantages like aim assist and rapid fire mods. The use of Cronus has become a major issue in Call of Duty, and many players at the highest levels of the game have been accused of using it.

MuTeX responds to Cronos’ accusation

MuTeX took to Twitter to respond to the clip that showed the Cronus app on his desktop.

“I just want to address the whole ‘Cronus situation.’ A guy cut my streaming desktop today, and it showed I had the old Cronus program, the Cronus Pro, ”MuTex explained.

“I used to use a Cronus back then when I was in WWII.” In previous Call of Duty LAN events, players had to use a Cronus Max to avoid Bluetooth interference.

MuTeX denies the cheating allegations and says he used a Cronus for his tournament mode at LAN events during the CoD: World War II era. He says that many players during this time would train with it and bring their own Cronus to the events, as those provided would cause various issues.

MuTeX jumped back into her feed in an attempt to clear her name from the cheating.

In the clip, MuTeX has already removed Cronus from his computer and shows his viewers that he does not have the program running during the stream.

In a follow-up video on Twitter, MuTex says it always shows its setup in full before each broadcast, to avoid accusations.

The use of Cronus devices in Warzone has become a growing concern, as players who use them can be difficult to detect. However, MuTex, as a former competitive player, should have owned and possibly trained with the device, in preparation for the LAN events.

MuTex is no longer competing in Call of Duty and exclusively plays and streams Warzone.
