Bennett fights back US criticism of demolition of terrorist suspect’s house | The time of Israel

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett pushes back US criticism of Israel for demolishing the West Bank home of a Palestinian-American suspect in a deadly terrorist attack.

“The Prime Minister admires and respects the US administration,” a source told Bennett’s office. “However, he acts only in accordance with the security considerations of the State of Israel and in defending the lives of Israeli citizens.”

The comment came after the US Embassy said “an entire family’s house should not be demolished for an individual’s actions,” referring to suspect Muntasir Shalabi.
