In a TikTok published on July 8, Lorelei Clemens (@lordakeet on TikTok) alleged that Ed Brown, aka Big Ed of TLC’s 90 Day Fianc, sexually assaulted her.
In May 2020, Clemens first went public with accusations that Brown sexually harassed her. She says, however, that TikTok has removed the video showing her original allegation.
Clemens’ latest video is part of a TikTok trend involving Bo Burnham’s song “All Eyes On Me,” featured in his latest comedy special, Inside. In response to whether or not she was worried that taking Big Ed out as his attacker would ruin his life, Clemens synchronizes to Burnham’s words, “How do I care?”
Burnham’s Inside has inspired many TikTok trends, including one that features altered laughter from Burnham’s song “Welcome to the Internet.”
Clemens used the trend in a follow-up video, in which she says “trolls and shameful victims” are having a severe impact on her mental health. She clarifies by saying that she is struggling with flashbacks, depression, anxiety and drug addiction, among others.
Screenrant reported that after Clemens’ allegations, 90 Day Fianc fans wanted Brown removed from the show and were hopeful that TLC would make a statement regarding the allegations.
The Daily Dot contacted Clemens and Brown.
