During MLB All-Star Game, Ad Will Blame Democrats For Starting Game From Georgia

New Republican National Committee (RNC) ad ridicules Democrats for their deceptive slander of Georgia’s Election Security Act, which resulted in tomorrow’s MLB All-Star Game being moved out of state.

President Joe Biden backed calls from left-wing businesses and activists last spring to move the All-Star Game out of Atlanta over an electoral reform law in Georgia. The president referred to Georgian law, which requires voter identification for postal ballots and prohibits election officials or political actors from distributing food or drink at the polling station, under the name of “Jim Crow in the 21st Century”.

More than 200 companies have come out to attack bills like Georgia’s, with CEOs like Ed Bastian of Delta Airlines and James Quincey of Coca-Cola specifically criticizing Georgian law. MLB commissioner Rob Manfred quickly gave in and moved the game to Denver, costing Georgia an estimated economic loss of $ 100 million. The Atlanta Braves, the MLB team in Georgia, said they were “deeply disappointed” by Manfred’s decision.

The GOP were on the attack ahead of tomorrow’s game. Last week, the National Republican Senate released an announcement calling on Democratic Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock to refuse to condemn the MLB decision.

The ads will air during the Home Run Derby on ESPN and during the All-Star Game televised by Fox.
