All eyes are on the Duggar family following Josh Duggar’s arrest in April 2021. Police have arrested Josh on suspicion of uploading child sexual abuse footage. Now fans and critics alike want to know what’s next for Josh and his wife, Anna Duggar. According to family reviews, it appears Anna was added as an agent for Josh’s LLC after her arrest.

Aside from 19 Kids and TLC’s Counting and Counting On, how did the Duggar family make money? It looks like Jim Bob Duggar has a number of business ventures – just like Josh. According to Distractify, Josh worked as a car salesman, and he also worked with the Family Research Council activist group located in Washington, DC. Additionally, many Duggars have a career in real estate. It seems that this also applies to Josh.

According to reviews on Reddit, Anna also has several LLCs – although critics believe Josh owns the businesses and has put them on his wife’s behalf. “Josh opened 5 LLCs on behalf of Anna in the years 2019 and 2020,” one Reddit user explained. Ravenglass North LLC, Ravenglass South LLC and Glasgow Drive LLC reportedly purchased real estate in July 2020. Cambridge Arbor LLC reportedly purchased real estate in February 2020. Soli Deo Gloria LLC reportedly purchased real estate in July 2019.

Reddit critics of the Duggar family noticed something different about one of Josh and Anna’s LLCs after Josh’s arrest. “Anna, more likely Josh, created a new LLC in February 2020 but didn’t use it for anything, but a month after Josh’s arrest, Anna was added as an agent of the LLC,” said Reddit user. “I find it very suspicious that they did not use this LLC for anything before Josh was arrested. So far, every LLC created by Anna has been used right after to purchase real estate.

So, what exactly is an agent for an LLC? According to UpCounsel, a registered agent serves as a third-party representative who receives process notices and other official notifications. The agent can also participate in day to day business operations in certain scenarios.

“They usually open a new one when they start a new business,” one Reddit user explained. “It’s just a way to protect your assets. It’s common and generally not shady, but we were talking about the Duggars, then. “

“They are trying to protect their money,” guessed another reviewer. “I don’t know much about it, but that must be the answer. “

Looks like Anna will stay by Josh’s side despite the allegations against him. “She’s by his side,” a source told People. “She thinks Josh is innocent.”

Anna is currently pregnant with their seventh child, and Josh can only see his six children in the presence of Anna. Initially, Josh chose to plead not guilty to any alleged crime. The judge originally set a trial date for July 2021, but Josh’s legal team has requested that the date be pushed back. The new date is in November 2021.

In the wake of the chaos, TLC also chose to cancel Counting On. We’ll be interested to see what Anna and the rest of the Duggar family do without the show’s income.
