The new marketing follows strong results released last week for the quarter ended July 31. Stitch Fix reported a 29% increase in revenue to $ 571.2 million from the prior year period, as well as net income of $ 28 million. The retailer had reported a loss in the fiscal fourth quarter of last year of $ 44.5 million.

Executives said they were investing more in brand marketing to raise awareness of Freestyle. This month, Stitch Fix increased its ad spend from its most recent fourth quarter on new channels including SEM search and marketing. The increased marketing investment should continue to move forward, CFO Dan Jedda said on a recent earnings conference call with analysts.
