Six more sexual assault charges have been laid against 60-year-old Cecil Wolfe, according to the RCMP.

Wolfe appeared in court in September on one count of sexual assault, after a woman reported to police that he sexually assaulted her.

The new charges, announced Tuesday, include one charge related to Saskatoon and five others from Loon Lake Cree Nation and Muskeg Lake.

Police allege Wolfe claimed he was working as a traditional healer or healer when his victims encountered him.

It is believed that there were possibly even more victims 20 years ago in Loon Lake, Blaine Lake, Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatoon and surrounding areas, according to police.

They encourage anyone with information to contact the nearest RCMP detachment or police station.

Wolfe first appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on the new charges on December 8. He has been released on conditions and is expected to return to court on December 17.
