Amazon quietly eliminated criticism of Chairman Xi’s work by clearing bad reviews, ratings and reviews on its Chinese website, and it has already appeared.
The American retail giant agreed to Beijing’s request to comment on Xi Jinping’s books below five stars. Chinese governance Reuters quoted two unidentified sources as saying that it was removed from Amazon’s website about two years ago.
This move is the latest example of Western technology companies willing to cooperate with Chinese censorship agencies to enter China’s huge consumer market.
There are 82 search results for Xi Jinping on Amazon, and most of the books about the president written or written by the president have banned ratings and reviews.
