What time do the Boxing Day sales start?
As the name suggests, Boxing Day sales usually start today, the morning of December 26.
However, sales periods have lengthened as they have gone live, and it is not uncommon for some retailers to start sales before Christmas Day to try to encourage consumers to spend.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen a growing number of major retailers kick off their online sales on Christmas Eve, December 24, and we expect many to have done the same this year.
How long do the Boxing Day sales last?
It can be hard to tell when the Boxing Day sales end. Indeed, many retailers also have big sales in January and often merge their offers at the end of the Christmas period with the New Year.
Since it’s been a year with a lot of stock and supply issues, as well as long delivery times, we recommend that if you have your eye on something, buy it when it hits a price with which you are comfortable with. stock may be extremely limited.
We expect most retailers to end their sale period mid to late January.
Black Friday vs Boxing Day: Which are the best sellers?
For a long time in the UK, Boxing Day was the biggest selling day, with Black Friday being much bigger in the US, in line with Thanksgiving celebrations. However, as more and more retailers and shoppers have moved online, there has been a shift.
Black Friday is now the UK’s biggest sales event of the year, with many retailers slashing prices throughout November. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be some great deals this Boxing Day, and we’re here to find the biggest savings and the best deals.
Since Boxing Day takes place after Christmas, it’s a time when many retailers clear stock for the New Year, when brands might make new releases. This especially applies to products like phones and tablets where new models are released every year, and it can be a good time to get your hands on top tech at a good price.
