Xinhua News Agency, Moscow, May 2. Russian scholars said that President Xi Jinping’s economic thought has not only played a key role in China’s economic and social development, but also contributed to solving global challenges with Chinese wisdom.

In the face of challenges such as trade frictions and the COVID-19 pandemic, China has fully implemented the new development concept and formulated key goals, such as accelerating the establishment of a new development pattern with the domestic market as the mainstay and allowing the domestic market to be the mainstay. Sergey Tsyprakov, a professor at the School of World Economics and Politics at the Higher School of Economics of the Russian National Research University, pointed out that international markets promote each other.

Marat Abhadin, first deputy editor-in-chief of Tass News Agency, said that Xi Jinping’s economic thought is close to the people, targeted, scientific, pragmatic, and open.

He said that according to the measures and actions China has taken, China will certainly be able to realize socialist modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
