Strathclyde rises in the ranking of UK universities

The University of Strathclyde has risen in the Complete University Guide rankings UK-wide (CUG).

Strathclyde is up one place to 31st, out of 130 establishments, in the United Kingdom in the 2023 edition of the ranking. It is also ranked fourth in Scotland.

The University is in the top 10 for 12 individual subjects, including Forensics, for which it is ranked first in the UK. It is also ranked second for entry standards.

This achievement reflects a year in which the University has built on its reputation for quality and intensity of research, innovation, productive industrial engagement and high caliber teaching, as well as on a world class recognized for enhancing sustainability and a thriving culture of entrepreneurship.

Over the past year, the Drug Manufacturing Innovation Centerof which Strathclyde is a founding partner, has officially opened its doors and the University is preparing, with its partners, for the imminent official opening of the National Institute of Manufacturing Scotland.

Additionally, Strathclyde was placed seal 36e worldwide in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for its work in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
