Britons are told to prepare for a “June monsoon” this week before scorching temperatures return again.
After a scorching start to June, temperatures dropped across the country and some areas experienced torrential rains.
The Met Office predicts that temperatures will drop even lower to zero Celsius in some areas over the next week, reports The mirror.

Temperatures could rise to 27C in the southeast and London on July 6 amid a six-day heat wave.
Netweather reportedly said in early July: there is a signal for the pressure to become relatively high in the east of the UK, which could lead to rather hot weather setting in especially in eastern Britain, with winds blowing from the south or southwest, and the potential for thunderstorm outbreaks.
