LEWISBURG, PA Niagara has the opportunity to bring home a couple of titles on Sunday after the race on Saturday at the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg, Pa.
DAY 2 SUMMARY
Singles
Trevor Masi continued where he left off on Friday, winning the first two singles in a row on Saturday. First beat Bucknell’s Tim Zelkovsky 6-4, 6-1 and then Bucknell’s Mueller 6-4, 6-1.
Masi will play from the chance for the first single championship on Sunday.
Tanner Bedard also won the second day, defeating Lafayette Gnach 7-5, 6-4.
In other singles, William Gothlin fought for a straight win against Saint Francis’ Fabio Varella 6-4, 6-4.
Gurustat Sausage won his first collegiate victory (6-3, 6-2) from Lafayette Esslinger in the consolation stand.
Foursome
Sausage and Eduardo Villalpandowon the Red Flash pair, Teixeria / Vinces, by 6-4.
The quadruple games ended on Saturday, but no results were available at the time this story was released.
