This announcement was only a matter of time, but David Bell and George Karlaftis have both been left out of the Music City Bowl to begin preparations for the upcoming NFL spring.
Jeff Brohm says George Karlaftis and David Bell are not playing in the bowl.

Bell, the 1st-team All-American, is predicted to be the 1st round late selection for the 3rd round early selection. Karlaftis, the 2nd All-American team, is predicted to be among the top five in the 2nd round.
Both represent excellent Purdue Football players in the NFL and have had a successful NFL career.
Many are shocked by this decision, but the two have nothing positive to play in the Music City Bowl, where they could risk serious injury against Tennessee.
But you can’t blame the duo for refusing, and if you’re angry at two 20-year-old young men looking for a career where they’ll make millions, I have nothing for you, Boomer.

In addition, Jack Plummer is also out of Bowl Prep. Last week, it was reported that he was going to stay in preparation for the bowl and decide on his next place after the Music City Bowl.
Well, I think there was a plan behind the scenes all the time – if the AOC goes professional, Plummer was coming back, if he misses, he was gone.
Announcing this morning for the sixth time of the AOC’s stay, Jack has decided to choose his next home for rehearsals.
QB Jack Plummer is no longer in the program. I came to the portal after the season and planned to practice and be available in the bowl. Decided to visit and find his next stop
