How to watch, listen to the OU football spring game

The Oklahoma football spring game is set for 3 pm Saturday, April 23 at the Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman.

In addition to featuring the OU football team’s annual scrimmage, the day’s events will include the Dedication of the Baker Mayfield Heisman Trophy statue.

The statue will be unveiled east of the stadium at Heisman Park.

Mayfield’s statue will join those of the OU Heisman Trophy winners Sam Bradford, Jason White, Billy Sims, Steve Owens and Billy Vessels.

There are plans for the former OU football quarterback and the 2018 Heisman Trophy Winner Kyler Murray to have a statue in Heisman Park in the future.

The 2022 OU football spring game will be Brent Venables‘first as head Coach of the Sooners, and also the first for the new Offensive Coordinator Jeff Lebby.

The scrimmage is also expected to feature new Oklahoma football quarterback Dillon Gabrielwho transferred to the OU from UCF during the off-season.

The OU will be looking to build on the Achievements of 2021, which ended with an 11-2 overall record and a 47-32 Victory against Oregon in the Alamo Bowl.
