April 12, 1972 – March 31, 2023
Donald Ray “Duck” Meredith was born on April 12, 1972 and departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023, having reached the age of 50 years. She was the daughter of Maggie Mae (Shelton) Meredith and the late Obie Emerson Meredith.
He is survived by: his mother, Maggie Mae Meredith; 1 brother, John Ted Meredith (wife Amber); 4 sisters, Mary Rose Bell, Mazie Troxell (husband Jimmy), Daisy Floyd (husband James), and Carolyn Moore (husband Eugene); his longtime girlfriend, Kim Wesley; with a host of family and friends mourning his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Obie Emerson Meredith.
He was a loving son, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, from 5-8pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, at 1pm at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Huckaby and Bro. Gordon Antle officiated. Burial was in New Sandusky Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Donald Meredith Memorial Fund c/o the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
