LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison women’s water polo team (5-24, 0-10 CWPA) finished the regular season close with a 14-10 loss to #20 Brown. The Bison led 4-2 after the first quarter before the Bears rallied for the win. Isabelle Monaghan was the game’s top scorer with six goals.

Brown jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Bucknell counterattacked with four goals. Bella Schraa made the first score followed by by Bella Moynihan goal to tie the game. Monaghan found the next twice to give Bucknell a 4-2 lead after one period.
Brown started the second period with three straight goals. Schraa scored to tie the game again. The Bears regained the lead before Monaghan’s third goal leveled the game again. Just before Halftime, Brown scored to take a 7-6 halftime lead.
Monaghan scored twice in the third quarter, but the Bears took a 10-8 lead going into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Monaghan and Schraa each scored, but Brown scored four goals to win 14-10.

Bison will be participating in the CWPA Championships starting April 28th.
