Registration is open for Delta Health Blood Drawings and Health Fair

Delta, CO (June 23, 2023) – Registration is now open for Delta Health’s Blood Drawing and Health Fair taking place August 8-11 by going online at https://my.itstartswithme.com/HealthFair/1811523. Appointments are required, but walk-ins are welcome at the Health Fair on Friday, August 11.

This year, blood draws are taking place at three locations in Cedaredge, Hotchkiss and Delta.

The health fair with local vendors and blood draws takes place Friday, August 26 from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Bill Heddles Recreation Center located at 531 Palmer Street in Delta, Colorado.

Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted; Delta Health will not be able to bill insurance companies. A 12-hour fast is required for all health examinations requiring blood tests. Participants are encouraged to drink plenty of water, a cup of black coffee is allowed, and medications can be taken as usual.

Many participants will opt to have their results sent to the Quality Health Network (QHN) where their primary care provider will have access to the results and can review them with their providers at their next appointment.

Delta Health is excited to host this annual health event at multiple locations for the community. This is a chance for community members to receive full lab work at a potentially lower cost.
