Ahmedabad: Most clubs in Ahmedabad have been completely closed for about 75 days to resume operations from Friday. Clubs are to continue to operate as usual with all amenities and facilities in accordance with instructions issued by the state government. Club management has shared messages with all its members.
In accordance with the instructions given by the Gujarat Government, Karnavati Club Ltd will start various activities on Fridays from 06:30 to 11:30 and from 16:00 to 19:00 for the health club, library, reading room, volleyball, billiards / snooker, squash and jogging path. . Only limited access is allowed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please maintain social distance. The use of the mask on the entire club premises is mandatory, read in a message circulated by the Karnavati Club management.
Club vice president Jayesh Modi told TOI that the club’s tennis and table tennis courts will be refurbished and will continue soon. So far, the club and its facilities are open only to members and not guests. Depending on the Board’s guidelines, an additional decision will be made.
Similarly, the Rajpath Club announced that it will open its space from Friday. All activities except restaurants, card room, shower room, swimming pools and hot tub continue from Friday. We will open other services in the coming days as directed by the board, said club secretary Mishal Patel. However, the Gujarat Sports Club will continue on Saturday.
