Ella Emhoff, stepdaughter of Kamala Harris walks to Balenciaga in Paris Couture | Fashion Trends

US Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff, best known for her eccentric fashion sense, recently walked the streets for US-based luxury fashion house Balenciaga. The 22-year-old knitwear designer looked sleek in a black suit which was paired with an oversized shawl as she hit the runway on Wednesday.

The former art student sticks to his classic round-rimmed glasses and opts for a polished look with his hair tied in a neat bun. The Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2021/2022 show held on Wednesday was their first haute couture collection in more than 50 years. At the highly anticipated show, the fashion brand showcased evening gowns featuring delicate embroidery, stylish oversized casual wear, baggy satin coats, jackets and jeans.

Emhoff shared some footage from his Paris runway moments with fans on his official social media accounts, thanking the event’s creative directors Demna Gvasalia and Balenciaga. “Thanks/congratulations to @demnagvasalia and the rest of the Balenciaga team. Really amazing, he wrote on Instagram.

The model, who graduated from the Parsons School of Design, has made headlines since joining IMG Models, which also represents supermodels such as Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Gisele Bunchen and more. The 22-year-old is the daughter of Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, from a previous marriage to Kerstin Emhoff.

In January, Emhoff signed with IMG Models shortly after which she made her New York fashion debut as she walked for Proenza Schouler. Soon after, she landed her first magazine cover in February. The 22-year-old appears on the cover of a European fashion magazine DustSpring 2021 edition.

Walking down the street for Balenciaga on Wednesday, the show which was attended by supermodel Bella Hadid, actress Salma Hayek, rapper Kanye West and others, was another feather in the model’s hat.
