What to expect from Drew Jordan in 2021

[ad_1]

Four years ago, Drew Jordan was the crown jewel in Duke’s 2017 recruitment class. He was the number one investor in the class and the four-star defensive head was also listed as the tenth best Duke sign of all time – no, it’s not a typo.

Former four-star top-200 recruiter 247Sports chose the Blue Devils from more than twenty other schools, including the state of Michigan, because Ron Burton was one of his main recruiters.

Jordan decided to move this interim from Duke after four productive Blue Devils. The finisher had 99 matches, 13 loss losses and nine sacks in 40 matches. Almost everyone has forgotten about this production because “he played for Duke” or “he only faced ACC teams,” which is fair, but he deserves some respect.

Finishing with about 100 tackles and almost 10 sacks in his 40 career games is impressive, and it’s more than any defensive head not currently named Jacub Panasiuk.

So what can we expect from Jordan in 2021?

Jordan has the tools to be a beginner in Michigan state football

Panasiuk will become the head of the primary defense, and he has already set a goal to become the sack leader of Big Ten in 2021. Can Jordan start on the other side? According to many early predictions, Drew Beesley has started to start on the other side or even Michael Fletcher, but I could predict that Jordan’s experience and strength will set him apart.

If the Michigan State Line of Defense wants to reach its full potential, I think Jordan needs to start with Panasiuk, Beesley and Michael Fletcher make up two deep ones.

People don’t seem to understand what kind of potential Jordan has, but he had 33 matches and 3.5 sacks in 12 matches last season, pushing the best of his career in each class. He is capable of great things and with the right coaching he can thrive.

I look forward to great things from Jordan in 2021.
