Fox Sports commentator Skip Bayless thinks he knows why Tom Bradymocked his longtime golf partner, former President Donald Trump, on a visit to the Biden White House this week.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneersquarterback cracked a Trump election referendum while celebrating the Super Bowl title side with President Joe Biden. It didn’t look good there at one point, Brady said of a difficult time the team experienced earlier in the season. Not many people think we can win. In fact, I think about 40% of people still don’t think we won.
Bayless suggested that Brady was trying to burn bridges using a single, twice-impeachable former POTUS after contacting him for their golf partnership and at that time before the 2016 election when the athlete one of Trump’s MAGA campaigns hat in his locker.
I believe Tom Brady was irritated to the point of confusion, even haunted by the fact that he was linked to Donald Trump once he won the office, Bayless said on Thursday’s episode of Undisputed.
Do I think he enjoyed playing golf with Donald Trump? I do, he continued. But Brady is probably naive in the hat trick, he said.
Brady lived to regret it because he was associated with Donald Trump in politics and Donald Trump became a politician that Tom Brady wanted zero to do, Bayless said.
So I believe he took this opportunity at the Biden White House, to take a shot that I think will burn down any bridge left to Donald Trump, he added. I don’t think Mr. Trump will like it.
