Ljubljana stock indexes end higher, Luka Koper leads winners

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), Jan. 19 (SeeNews) – The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in green area on Wednesday, with port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] leading to the blue chip winners, stock data showed.

Shares of Luka Koper rose 2.38% to EUR 25.80, data from LJSE shows.

On the other hand, Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] followed the declines, as the share fell by 0.33% on Wednesday to EUR 59.80.

The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.48% to 1,329.76 points. The SBITOP TR Index, which also tracks dividend payout, also gained 0.48%, finishing at 1,561.29 points.

The exchange’s daily trading revenue came in at 2.5 million euros ($2.8 million) on Wednesday, compared to 3.4 million euros on Tuesday.

Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest turnover on the stock exchange – 689,726 euros. The stock closed flat at $120.
