Dealertrack is looking for a Business service provider I in Memphis, Tennessee!

This vacancy is for the day shift starting at 8am or 9am.

The essential responsibilities of the The Business Services Specialist I are to sort, process, scan, store and retrieve extensive contract paperwork while meeting the expectations of the service level agreement for our clients.

  • Specialists must be able to handle a large volume of documents in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a high level of quality and confidentiality for our clients.
  • The specialist is responsible for reviewing dealer contract packages, removing specific forms per customer agreement, and physically preparing the paperwork for processing and storage.
  • The specialist enters basic information into the computer system, prepares paperwork for scanning, scans for electronic storage, labels folders, archives contracts for physical storage, shreds documents, and ships processed paperwork to our clients or storage facility.

Your role:

  • Handle large volumes of contract paperwork in an efficient and organized manner while maintaining and tracking business processes.
  • Performs a variety of office support duties including but not limited to opening envelopes, sorting paperwork by customer, reviewing each paper in the package, removing items as per customer requirements, removing staples, batch and pre-scan paperwork, scan paperwork with a high-tech scanner while monitoring scan accuracy, re-staple contracts, prepare folders and archive contracts for storage or retrieval.
  • Visibly demonstrate a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors associated with them.
  • Collaborate with safety leaders to support all safety activities aligned to Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor i.e. cleaning equipment, organizing work space, rotating duties regularly, etc.

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally less than 2 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of PC software applications (e.g. MS Office, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be a team player but also able to work independently.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly and learn new processes or tasks.
  • Must be able to multitask and enjoy a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • The ability to maintain a positive, professional and pleasant demeanor under various circumstances
  • Ability to work with all types of people
  • Ability to lift and transport boxes of paperwork within the facility weighing up to 40 lbs; ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally overhead with or without assistance.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time to perform repetitive tasks. Regular need to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Often has to stoop, kneel, crouch, stoop and crouch.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, where there is an assigned start time but no predetermined end time as all work must be completed with a quick turnaround time.
  • Physical ability and mental acuity to successfully perform the duties of the position within the required time frames to meet business requirements
