Balancer Protocol and Wallstreetbets’ Defi Project Partner Launch Exchange Traded Portfolios

Last week, Bitcoin.com News reported on the new decentralized finance (defi) platform Wsbdapp hosted on the wsbdapp.com website. The creators of the app claim to be the leaders of the Wallstreetbets community alongside supporting Jaime Rogozinski, according to a video the team shared on Twitter. On Wednesday, the team behind the Balancer protocol revealed that the project will collaborate with the creators of Wsbdapp.

Balancer Protocol is a liquidity provider and decentralized exchange (dex) platform that operates the Ethereum blockchain. According to Wednesday’s data, Balancer Protocol is the seventh largest dex app using Ethereum with a trade volume of $ 471 million in the past week. Dune Analytics metrics indicate that Balancer’s volume is just above 1 inch Network and Synthetix. The announcement from Balancer and Wsbdapp shows that both projects plan to launch Wsbdapp’s “Exchange Traded Portfolios (ETPs) on Balancer V2”.

“We are excited to partner with Wsbdapp and bridge the gap between traditional investing and challenge,” said Fernando Martinelli, CEO of Balancer Labs, during the announcement. “Wallstreetbets shares our mission of expanding accessibility to challenge, and we are delighted to welcome them into our ecosystem.”

Reduce gasoline costs and leverage “informed financial decisions”

The teams clarify that crypto ETPs will help retail investors diversify and they can acquire a myriad of challenge tokens. “Like an ETF or an index fund, Wsbdapp’s ETPs on Balancer create a carefully selected portfolio of fully liquid tokens, balanced to avoid inflation and non-custodial,” details the announcement of the collaboration. Wsbdapp users will be able to tap into the Balancer protocol and take advantage of “the appropriate currency to buy and receive a token representing their holdings,” the teams say.

“The Wallstreetbets community has something for everyone, and with democratic tools like ETPs, we are showing the world how financial markets should really be managed,” said BTCVIX, CEO of the Wsbdapp platform. “Balancer provides our community with the data they need to access and evaluate these portfolios, which enables them to make truly informed financial decisions. “

The creators of the Balancer project say that Balancer V2 will help users of the Wsbdapp platform to reduce costs. “Users will receive frequent updates on the status of their ETPs,” the Balancer team said. “Once funds are held, users have access to any benefit of the collection and can resell their shares when ready.”
