We Live in a Society Now, you can almost imagine her Election character asking her classmates the same question she ends here. However, there is a little more to unbox beyond the obvious. This doesn’t appear to be a sponsored post, suggesting that Witherspoon was getting poetic just for the love of the game. He also goes beyond a simple statement about NFTs or a specific cryptocurrency, the tweet contemplates a future closely linked to the metaverse. Adapt or be left behind. Sounds familiar.

Let your mind wander for a second. You just woke up in a dimly lit room and standing in front of you, clad in leather, is Reese Witherspoon. She extends both hands in your direction and opens her palms revealing … two pills, one red and one blue. Embrace the metaverse and start amassing a collection of virtual Air Jordan 1s, she said, gesturing to the red pill. Or go back to living in your analog reality, she continues, pointing to the blue pill. Which one do you choose?

Ideally, this growing interest from the Legally Blonde star remains exactly that interest to be discovered, rather than leading the next pump and dump program that leaves fans worse for wear.
