Bitcoin: Here’s How The Tides Have Shifted For BTC Despite The Sharks’ Influx

[ad_1]

The influx of stablecoin has been accompanied by a decrease in bitcoin reserves. Whale behavior could help BTC regain its uptrend provided the UTXO value bands maintain the status quo.

Bitcoin euphoria [BTC] could have come to an abrupt end after the king’s coin failed to post significant gains for the first time in the new year.

At press time, BTC was back in the $20,000 region despite calls for a breakout further. However, the price trend is not the only part that has changed in the Bitcoin system.

The stream has now reversed

When the market was in its boom era, there was a massive flow of stablecoins into the exchanges. This action illustrated investors’ determination to grab a piece of the accumulation and profit taking.

According to CryptoQuant analyst Joaowedson, there has been a recent influx of $250 million into Binance USD [BUSD]. As this generated a lot of buzz, it also had an impact on the rise in the price of BTC.

However, the rush to the cash market led to a decrease in reserves. So while there has been increased buying pressure to drive up prices, declining supplies have also had an influence on lower demand.

On top of that, Joaowedson confirmed that the BUSD stablecoin flow tides have changed over the past few days, as indicated by data on CryptoQuant. This decrease means that only a small number of investors were participating in Bitcoin transactions.

Regarding social volume, data from Santiment showed the metric was relatively at a low point compared to previous peaks it had reached over the past 18 days. At the time of writing, the social volume was 2774.

Social volume shows how fashionable an arbitrary search for an asset is. Since the volume had decreased, this implied that traders had filtered Bitcoin from major crypto research.

Additionally, positive sentiment accompanied the direction of social volume with a sharp drop. This means that investors’ perception of the coin was not more acute.

Will whales help the BTC cause?

In another CryptoQuant post, AxelAdler Jr admitted that there are still signs that the market may remain bullish. To defend his position, the analyst brought up how Bitcoin whales have massively accumulated the coin.

According to AxelAdler Jr, chunks of UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) value between 1,000 and 10,000 began to be recovered on January 11. Those with between 100 and 1000 also joined the party on January 16.

Since this indicator displays the behavior of the whales, the transition to the green zone indicates an obvious presence of the whales on the market. Therefore, a continued accumulation could largely influence the market.
