Capitol Police Testifies Before Commission Jan. 6

Let the politicians blush and smoke. Let the unestablished bastards lie about what happened on January 6. Let the duplicitous pond scum create their own narrative from their dark, unquenchable ambitions, and carefully cultivated ignorance of their core audience. Body cams don’t lie. They are hard to watch. They leave a hot, sour aftertaste of sarcasm and anger. But they do not lie.

It’s weird, in a way. For years, police reform activists have called for body cams to be mandatory to catch bad cops doing bad things, and to defeat organized cover -ups by prosecutors, police unions, and the aforementioned bad cops. Now, here we are, watching body-cam videos of the crimes on Jan. 6, and the videos are undeniable proof of the offenses committed against law enforcement officers.

This is in no way to diminish the impact of the testimony given before the Select Committee investigating about the uprising of the officials invited to appear. You can’t deny the description of what happened to him offered by DC Metro police officer Michael Fanone:

But they still tortured me. They beat me. A taser device struck me at the base of my skull several times. And they kept doing it, until I cried out that I had kids.

You can’t ignore DC Metro policeman Daniel Hodges ’description of the nightmare moments where he was trapped in a Capitol gate at the mercy of the mob. “A meat grinder,” Hodges said, and he described how he hoped he wouldn’t be pulled to the ground.

At worst, [I might] pulled down into the crowd and lynched. Officer Fanone was not disturbed.

A thought never far from the minds of Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn and Cge of Police Sergeant Aquilino Gonell, two non-white officers who testified Tuesday about the… ah… special attention given to them tourists on that memorable day. Dunn admitted he made a mistake in telling the lunatics he voted for Joe Biden. Then came the response:

Did you hear that, guys, that [N-word] voted for Joe Biden.

But Dunn didn’t finish. He looked behind the invective and the bear spray at the architects of this dreadful event.

If a hit man is accepted and he kills someone, the hit man is imprisoned. But not only did the hit men go to jail, but the person who took them did. There was an attack carried out on the 6th of January, and a single hit sent them off. I want you to get under it.

Gonell was even more specific.

Annoying. It was a pitiful excuse for his behavior, for something he himself helped to create, this evil. I was still recovering from the hugs and kisses that day. If those were hugs and kisses, we should all go to her house and do the same thing to her. For me, it’s insulting, demeaning because all we did was to avoid everyone being hurt.
