Donald “Ned” Tracy
CONTINENTAL – Donald “Ned” Tracy, 67, of Continental, died at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 17, 1954 to Defiance to Donald “Ed” and Jacquelin (Amspaugh) Tracy, his father died and his mother remained on the Continental. On January 26, 1985, he married Teresa Schwarzman, he also survived Continental.
Ned also survives a daughter: Elizabeth (Kevin Held) Tracy of Tiffin; a granddaughter: Harriet Isabelle Held; a sister: Deborah (Dan) Homier of Cloverdale; and two nephews: Matt Homier and Ben Homier.
Ned owns Tracy’s Hardware at Continental. He enjoyed NASCAR, and drove for the ARCA Series in the 70s.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental. The visitation will be held on Sundays from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service.
