Republicans Double and Triple Deductions On Donald Trumps Big Lies

[ad_1]

Republican leaders, from Glenn Youngkin to Ronna McDaniel, continue to show a remarkable commitment to pushing Donald Trumps Big Lie, despite the fact that it served as a catalyst for the deadly attack on Capitol building and attacks by police officers. In an open attempt to undermine our democracy, Donald Trump made the Big Lie a litmus test for Republicans up and down the ballot and many Republicans stepped up to his challenge.

In OAN, Trump continued his absurd, absurd statements about his Big Lie.

CNN Business: Trump was in the middle of an absurd statement about evil Democrats election fraud when he said they were destroying our country. Our country cannot survive this. Our country will not survive. He then sniffed and switched to immigration, said to see where they came from, clearly emulating the great replacement theory of replacement points that Tucker Carlson had primarily in homes across the country.

Trumps mini-me Glenn Youngkin has continued to raise doubts about the election by refusing to say whether he voted to validate the Jan. 6 election.

Axios: Youngkin believes Biden defeated Trump in the 2020 election legitimately. But while speaking with Axios, he would not say if he would have voted to certify the Jan. 6 election if he was a member of Congress.

And RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has continued to spread misinformation about the 2020 election and keep it at the top of the GOP agenda.

Bridge Michigan: Ronna McDaniel, the head of the Republican National Committee, said it’s important to talk about things that happened in 2020, but she also looks forward to it.

But nearly a year later, the 2020 election and the controversy surrounding it are still haunting some Republicans who have spoken out against Trump or his allegations of fraud.
