Los Angeles Rams ‘Aaron Donald Texts Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff

Aaron Donald and Jared Goff will still remain close and in touch with each other ahead of the Los Angeles Rams ’game against the Detroit Lions this weekend.

Donald, one of the league’s top defenders, told his former teammate that he doesn’t plan to make it easy when the Lions visit the SoFi stadium on Sunday.

This is the first time Goff has played in the Rams ’new home with an audience capacity to attend.

“It’s not going to be weird,” Donald told the Los Angeles Times with a smile. “I told him, ‘Get ready.’ I told him I would follow him, so he knew what it was. “

Detroit’s offense knows the threat Donald poses, and will work diligently to not allow the defensive tackle to ‘break the game.’

“He has the ability to move in a different way than typical defensive linemen. He’s not over anything but he has very fast, very good everything about him. And then he’s relentless,” the center said. Goff sent a funny reply again, but Donald did not disclose what was said in response to his message.

“It can be anything. I might bark at him. I might say. I don’t know,” Donald said. “It depends on how the game is, how I’m bombarded by the crowd.

“I’m more of an in-the-moment-type person so I hope I can get to him. Ask me after the game. “
