Pro-Trump actor Kristy Swanson was hospitalized because of COVID-19

“Pretty in Pink” and “Dude, Where’s My Car?” the actor is an outspoken supporter of the 45th president. In 2019, he worked on a stage play based on an anti-Trump text exchange between former FBI agent Peter Strzok and attorney Lisa Page.

The entertainer met Trump at the White House in February last year and pinned a tweet of himself posing in the Oval Office with him.

Swanson did not say whether or not he was vaccinated against COVID-19. In September, he suggested that vaccine mandates be a way to “earn mo-money.”

In a series of tweets Monday, Swanson told fans he was “OK” and was being treated with blood thinners and baricitinib while in hospital.

Thank you all for these prayers that are truly important to me. I feel . Just a little clarification and update, I was just at the end of my Covid review when it jumped into my lungs. So they treat me with Baricitinib & blood thinners so I don’t clot. I’m Okay.

He posted thanks for messages of support, including from fellow “Pretty in Pink” star Jon Cryer, a frequent critic of Trump.
