[ad_1]

After his defeat in the 2020 elections, Donald Trump allegedly drafted an executive order directing the top U.S. military leader to hijack the voting machines, a report has revealed.

The explosive document, released by the National Archives and obtained by Politico, revealed drastic steps Trump may be willing to take to prevent Joe Biden from being declared the next president.

The three-page draft, dated December 16, 2020, directed the Secretary of Defense to “seize, collect, maintain and inspect all machines, equipment, electronically stored information, and records of material that required for maintenance. “

The order also sought to appoint a special counsel to file cases on any allegations of fraud that arose from the abductions, but it was not signed.

It is also not clear who drafted the order.

The draft is part of 750-plus documents submitted by the National Archives to the House of Representatives select committee investigating the 2021 Capitol insurrection.

The then president sought to block the release of documents citing the “executive privilege” doctrine, but the Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected his appeal.

Trump and his allies have spent months pushing the false narrative of widespread electoral fraud, despite government officials denying the allegations.

The claims were also denied by designated Trump-aptorney general Bill Barr, and Trump was later impeachable for inciting an attack on the Capitol by a mob of his supporters.

Meanwhile, the probe committee investigating on Thursday invited Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter, to provide information and participate in a voluntary interview.

Ivanka was a senior White House adviser to her father. The committee wanted to ask him about Trump’s actions, or inaction, and his state of mind on January 6, 2021, when hundreds of his supporters stormed the Capitol and temporarily prevented Congress from confirming the victory. in the 2020 election of President Joe Biden.
