Donald Lee Wireman, age 70, of Hays, Kansas passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, in Hays. He was born August 12, 1951, in McCracken, Kansas to William H. and Alvina G. Wireman. He attended and graduated from Hays High School.
Donald is a professional musician and highly respected and requested Sound Engineer working on many big name acts. Donald is part of the Kansas Music Hall of Fame through his associations with the bands, Tempest, The Soul Express and The Beast. Besides his love of music he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Donald is survived by a daughter, Molly Wireman of Concord, Massachusetts; two brothers, Bill and Terry Wireman of Hays and a sister, Sheila Sander of Woodward, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Missy Wireman and her parents.
A celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. The inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, McCracken, Kansas.
