Philadelphia Eagles fans watched their favorite team play their hearts out on Sunday but thanks to a highly questionable call they ended up falling short against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. Before the fanbase could even deal with the heartbreak of that loss, Donald Trump Jr. was vilifying them. on social media.
Trump Jr. went on Truth Social before the Super Bowl to share some rather unpleasant sentiments about Philly fans that also meant to appeal to the MAGA crowd he’s gotten so good at grifting.
“Quote of the week I just heard from a random person in town … ‘Philly fans are the antifa of sports fans… when they lose they riot… If they win they riot too they You will not win,” he wrote. “I think I was at Penn when they threw batteries at a Santa so it checked out.”
Eagles fans have been compared to many things over the years and we’re not sure if Trump Jr.’s version of Antifa is the boogeyman. and his father’s are near the top of the list for worst.
While some Eagles fans took to the streets following the Super Bowl loss, and some of them even climbed poles, all signs point to it being a relatively peaceful night in Philadelphia, much to the chagrin of Don Jr.
