Former President Donald Trump has zero desire to be House Speaker, top aide Jason Miller said Tuesday.
[Trump] has zero desireto to be speaker, Miller told Punchbowl News.
Trump was on Real Americas Voice Monday where he further explained his position:
So, I heard the talk and its rise. But it’s not something I want to consider but it’s definitely a lot to talk about. I have a great relationship with Kevin [McCarthy] and hopefully we will do everything according to tradition. But the election was a horrible, horrible thing for our country.

In January, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) met with Trump to announce that the former president is committed to helping Republicans hold elections to Congress in 2022.
Trump and McCarthy also found themselves allies in releasing Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from the chairman of the conference in May, who replaced her with Trump-endorsedRep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY).
Trump celebrated Cheney’s ouster, calling him an abitter, horrible man.
