24-Hour Fashion Week and Fame Devotionals With Maddie Ziegler

Maddie Ziegler has come a long way since then dancing mom, but he couldn’t completely let go of his past—even when Mode meeting a 19-year-old dancer, model and actor in a cafe during Paris Fashion Week, she overheard someone playing “Chandelier,” a Sia song in which she starred in the music video in 2014. “My face is getting hotter now,” she said, asked, “Is someone pranking me?”

Ziegler relaxes between shows with his drink of choice (almond latte with honey, in case you’re curious) as he reflects on the similarities between the worlds of dance and fashion: “It’s definitely been a transition, from reality and competition dancers to today’s dancers. in Paris for Fashion Week.” Ziegler still worries about being seen as a “competition kid,” but to be honest, he barely remembers his early days. dancing mom; today she is more focused on upcoming projects like her burgeoning film career.

After a short shoot, it was a Miu Miu show (where Ziegler wore Miu Miu, of course), and he was blown away: “Every piece was so different and fun. I really want to wear them all.” Ziegler likes to mix menswear with womenswear, saying, “Now especially, there are no rules for fashion, no rules for gender, so it’s cool to mix and match.” When the French paparazzi shouted his name outside the Lacoste show, Ziegler definitely looked like a movie star.
