Kyle Kuzma’s edgy pregame includes oversized sweaters, shorts, and more

Kyle Kuzma’s resume includes being on the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2018 and winning the 2020 Finals as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Now, it might be right for the standout fashion-forward Washington Wizards to officially add a sportswear trendsetter to that list as his pregame outfits continue to attract attention.

Last month, Kuzma revealed the huge role fashion has played in her life.

“Life is about art, and I think the first impression in life is always what you wear,” he said told the Meeting Room. “And I always look at fashion not because I’m just wearing clothes, but I craft a story and compose a look that when you look at me, it’s part of the conversation.”

On Friday, ahead of Washington’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he continued his stylish adventure wearing his latest conversation piece as he arrived at OKC’s Paycom Center.

But that puffy coat wasn’t even what caught his eye this week. On Monday, she wore an oversized pink sweater that got the NBA world talking. In fact, two of his former teammates are among those who are weighing on social media.

“Isn’t the way you wear that!!!” Lakers star LeBron James comments on Instagram. “I didn’t hit the like button because this was outrageous Kuz!”

Anthony Davis shared James’ sentiment under the post, saying, “You’re out of line, sir!!!!”

The Raf Simons sweater in question, which is included hefty $1,360.94 price tag, also has some fans. Las Vegas Aces star Liz Cambage complimented her fit with this compliment: “she went and done it”

Kuzma was in a relationship with supermodel Winnie Harlow, who had an influence on her style decisions.

“Who bought these clothes? [fire] head to toe” commented former America’s Next Top Model contestant, Harlow.

Last season, Kuzma posted an image in an impressive pregame fit and tagged famed Belgian fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck.

This fit isn’t the first and definitely won’t be the last of Kuzma’s bold style statement as the NBA and the fashion world alike are paying attention to the next piece of talk that her outfit provides.
