With Donald Trump running for president for the third time, one fashion maven believes the time has come for his wife, Melanie Trump, stepping up her fashion game. Miranda Holder, “Your Feel Good Fashion Coach,” thinks the former first lady needs attention Kate Middleton to get ideas on how to warm up her personality.
Holder explained to England Fast that Melania “seemed a bit cold” while in the White House making her feel “untouchable” while “in her most expensive clothes”. The stylist thought the former model “lacked humanity in what she did.” To rectify that situation, Holder recommended that he take a page from Princess of Wales fashion guidelines.
“What Kate has gotten really good at is that she is still acceptable. Kate is a ‘regular person’ at Royal Family and has done very well for itself, but we all know where that comes from,” explains Holder. He added that this should make Melania feel “a bit more relatable and accessibleto the public by choosing designers within reach of the average American wallet.
Melania could have “mixed and matched it a little more to show a bit of humanity and humility through her outfits,” the fashion maven noted. Holder didn’t expect Melania to take his advice as he was pretty sure they had been consulted and it was suggested that Melania should be more accessible, but they want to do it their way.Melania’s way means haute couture, which is well behind most people’s budgets, so don’t expect any changes on the Trump fashion front.
