Gabrielle Union’s newest Netflix project, Find Perfect, doesn’t come out until June 23, but she’s already shown everyone that she’s got fashion under her belt. In just one day, she wore no less than three outfits, including a bright pink tweedy blazer dress that was very much in line with the world’s obsession with all things Barbie (blame Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie for that).
The Union dresses included in a saturated, hot pink hue, nubby texture, and exaggerated pannier-style hips. She wore a sleek skirt underneath to let the texture of the blazer take center stage and added a pair of brown high heels to the look to keep it from looking like a head-to-toe homage to everyone’s favorite doll. A chain necklace completed her look and she styled her hair in a sleek asymmetrical bob.
Earlier in the day to appear on good morning america, she wore a long gray blazer with a geode necklace and a plunging knit minidress. He also wore brown shoes with the outfit, although they were a more tan color.

While he’s promoting his new Netflix movie and his new BET+ showGabrielle Union: My 50th Journey, Union has also opened up about becoming a mother. She explained that while she was growing up, she had a great mother around her and she felt like she wouldn’t be able to keep up. That is definitely something that is explored in her show, which chronicles her journey of self-discovery as she travels around Africa with family and friends.
“I was afraid of being a bad mom, of not living up to the great mom I grew up with,” says Union AND! News. “I don’t want my lack of understanding or knowledge of every single thing to leave a gaping hole in his life.”
Then, she realized that there was no official rulebook for motherhood. That was all it took for her to see that everyone was just trying to do their best with their kids.
“As I gain more confidence,” he finished. “I was like, ‘Oh we all rock it? We’re just doing the best we can.’ It gave me more confidence to believe that, maybe, I was solid in this. I raised a happy, healthy, free black girl.”
