One killed, another injured in Hollywood Hills shooting
The CEO of a popular fashion company was targeted in a robbery that led to the deadly Hollywood Hills shooting, officials said.
ANGEL – The CEO of a popular fashion company was the target of an attempted robbery that led to the deadly Hollywood Hills shooting on Friday morning, sources said.
The CEO, along with his friends and security guards, arrived at his Hollywood Hills home located above the Sunset Strip after an incident at around 1:30 am when three men in an Audi got out of the vehicle and attempted to rob him. Investigators believe the suspect has been following them for some time.

During the robbery, the suspect opened fire. The CEO’s bodyguard, who is a retired police officer, returned fire and hit two of the three suspects. The suspects then returned to the Audi and left the scene.
Moments later, patrol officers with the Los Angeles Police Department spotted the suspect’s vehicle with a flat tire at the intersection of Doheny Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills. When stopped, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. One of the suspects died at the scene and the second suspect was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. A third suspect was taken into custody, the LAPD said.
As for the victim, the security officer involved in the shooting was taken to hospital. Officials said he was on alert and spoke to first responders. The CEO and his friend were also taken to a local hospital and their conditions have not been released.
The names of the victims and suspects have not been released by authorities.
The LAPD’s Homicide Division is currently handling the investigation.
