A powerful tornado swept through eastern Pennsylvania on Thursday evening, injuring at least five people and leaving a trail of devastation.

The Bucks County Courier Times reported that storms swept through Bucks County, with two separate tornadoes hitting – and one of them devastating the town of Bensalem.

The tornado destroyed a car showroom and a mobile home park in the neighborhood near the New Jersey border.

Bensalem Police Director of Public Safety Farid Harran told the newspaper that five people inside the car showroom were injured after half of the building collapsed.

When it collapsed, a woman inside the building said the swift storm came without warning.

“I heard the alarm on my phone and seconds later we felt something was happening to the building,” Joan Zupka told the newspaper.

“Everything lasted 90 seconds.”

Szupka sought shelter under a desk and was later rescued from the building.

Other witnesses posted footage of the horrific storm on Twitter.

“A tornado just hit Bensalem,” wrote a Twitter user who recorded a video of overturned vehicles and what appears to be a collapsed car dealer’s building.
