Junior, the 16-year-old son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, signed a lucrative deal to join the same record label as Calvin Harris and Harry Styles.

Junior Andre has announced that he has signed up for a music release with Columbia Records UK in the footsteps of his pop star father.

Junior explained that he spent weeks in silence sessions, recording new songs with two other up-and-coming artists, at an independent studio called Rebel Records in London.

He posted a photo of himself with his proud dad Pete standing alongside several Rebel cast members and sharing the big news with his 485,000 followers.

The teen wrote: “Wow. Where do I start? The past six months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every second of it. My dad took me into the studio six months ago and put me in the booth at @rebelrecs.”

“Since then, I have been secretly working on a huge project, and not long ago I got a call that @columbiauk wanted to sign me!

“I just want to say thanks to the @rebelrecs team along with my dad who helped in my development into an artist.

“Of course a big shout out to the very talented sktartist and marcellonoego who have been working with me on this project from the start.”

The well-mannered young man remembered to thank his mother Katie, adding: “I never forget my mother who always supports me.

“And of course my family and friends. I love everyone who supports me and am so excited to go on this journey with all of you.” He concluded his statement with the sensational comment, “New music coming soon!!”

His younger sister Princess, 14, was among the first to wish him well with his sweet news, writing “Congratulations, Junior, I love you” accompanied by a heart-shaped emoji.

Their father Pete wrote: “Beyond feeling proud. Wait till you see the picture I post later” with a laughing emoji.

Pete has a reputation for playing tricks on his older children, including sharing embarrassing shots of them from their childhood.
