The two murder victims, who were found within hours of each other at separate addresses in London last week, are named Clinton Ashmore and Sharon Pickles.

Detectives have been searching for Lee Peacock, 49, as part of the murder investigation, and have asked people to call the police if they know his whereabouts.

It comes after emergency services were called to Ashbridge Street in Westminster, just after 9:30pm on Thursday after concerns were raised about the welfare of people inside the property.

Sharon Pickles, 45, was found with a knife wound to her neck and pronounced dead at the scene.

At 2.15 a.m. Friday, police were alerted to reports of a man injured at a property in Jerome Crescent, about half a mile away.

Paramedics confirmed that the 59-year-old man, now known as Ashmore, died after being stabbed in the neck.

Police suspect the deaths are linked.

Detective Chief Detective Wayne Jolly said his thoughts are with the families of the victims who have been informed of their deaths.

“This is a horrific crime and we will not rest until we bring the person or people responsible for it to justice,” he said.

“The key to that is finding Lee Peacock. We believe he knows both victims and urgently needs to be located to talk to him about their murders.”

He said investigators were “working around the clock” to find Mr. Peacock but had so far been unsuccessful.

People have been urged to call 999 if they know where it is.

“If we are seen, we urge the public not to approach him, but to contact the police as soon as possible,” he added.

Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
