Gary Neville has asked Manchester United to sign Harry Kane now.
Kane has been closely linked with a move away from Tottenham this summer, but United’s rivals Manchester City are the favorites to sign him.

However, City’s stated reluctance to pay Daniel Levy’s £150m asking price has this saga continuing.
And Neville believes this could be United’s chance to slip and sign the striker before City, who added that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will need a new striker within the next year.
“Manchester United will lose Martial and Cavani in the next 12 months,” Neville told Sky Sports. “Mason Greenwood will be their only striker. They need a new one in the next 12 months.
“The man is now available if you pay £150m. You have Martial, James, Mata who we can do without at the moment.
Man United have already signed Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho, but Neville wants Kane as well.
“I think Ken’s entry would be a differentiating factor.”
It has been suggested Kane’s signing would make him a title contender for Man United, however, Jamie Carragher has argued that the Red Devils do not lack the quality players needed to take on the challenge.
“The answer is always to go and spend £100m on someone. ‘Go and get caught up in the transfer market,’” said Carragher.
“You talk about Chelsea buying Romelu Lukaku and people say they’re going to win the league – they or City. Manchester United finished above them last season and bought Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho!
“I don’t get that feeling that Manchester United can’t compete. If Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp or Thomas Tuchel own a Manchester United squad, they can win the league.”
