Gillian and Adrian Byford celebrate their £148m EuroMillions win
The 13-year-old son of EuroMillion winning parents is fighting for his life in hospital after crashing his ‘nightmare’ quad bike.
The teenage son of lottery winner Adrian Byford and his ex-wife Jillian is said to have been injured when he was hit by a car on the grounds of his father’s Cambridgeshire mansion last Monday.
His sister reportedly sounded the alarm after he was thrown off his bike and over a fence.
An air ambulance was reportedly dispatched to the scene of the 148-acre property, but the boy was taken by road to the hospital.
The quad bike is said to have been a gift he bought for the teenager by father Adrian, 49, according to The Sun.

He reportedly remained in intensive care Sunday night, with his family, including his mother Jillian, 48, by his bedside.
Adrian and Gillian won the jackpot of £148m at the EuroMillions in 2012.
The couple later split, and Adrien recently returned to the £12m listed, remote mansion.
Gillian, who now lives in Scotland, was said to have rushed to her son’s bed.
A family friend told The Sun: ‘He is in intensive care and is in poor condition. He is sedated now and everyone is out of their minds anxiously.

“His sister was really shaken by everything. It’s a nightmare.”
The accident occurred at about 3 pm last Monday. A police spokesman said: “We have been called to reports of a car and quad bike collision on private land.
“Quad rider, a teenage boy, taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.”
The Bayfords won their massive fortune in 2012, and at the time it was Britain’s second biggest lottery win ever.
Then they purchased their sprawling 19th-century country house, Horsheth Lodge – an 189-acre property that includes stables and outbuildings with a cinema, billiards room, bar, workshop, and storage rooms.
There is also an outdoor pool, along with six other cabins, equestrian facilities and a barn with office space on site.
But the couple, who have been married for nine years, broke up the year after winning the huge prize and Gillian returned to Scotland.
Former postman Adrian also bought a property closer to his children in Scotland, before putting the family’s former home in Lynton, Cambridgeshire, up for sale earlier this year.
Adrian had been away for a while and had put the luxury home on the market several times.
Last August, he was forced to ramp up security at the property after squatters began using his swimming pool and gym.
However, reports indicate that he recently opted to stay in the six-bedroom mansion, while his ex-wife still lives in Scotland with her property developer husband.
Jillian welcomed her daughter with her new husband Brian Deans at the age of 48.
The Mirror has contacted Cambridgeshire Police and attempted to reach the Bayford family for comment.
